The energy crisis IS the climate crisis.

And we have a Government that is ignoring its climate commitments, at the long term expense of all of us.

Show your support for our Earth Day Motion, demanding that the Govt recommit to its 2030 climate targets and steer us away from fossil fuel dependency

A public swimming pool for Sandyford

Glenalbyn has been abandoned by the council so we need an alternative to meet the growing need.

Even if it meant a slight chance of a slight delay in building some apartments, do you think a public swimming pool & gym would be a positive addition to Sandyford?

Measures to ease energy costs must have end date - EU European governments' measures to alleviate the impact of high energy prices on businesses and consumers must have a clear end-date and be focused to avoid the mistakes of the energy crisis of 2022, E...

Real policy focus should be on using this as incentive opportunity to invest and radically accelerate the energy transition - public funds in removing barriers to EV, solar, speeding up public rail transit investment, rewarding the shift - leading by example. #Spéirghorm

Tax on diesel and petrol reduced by 10c per litre Fuel prices have started coming down on some forecourts, in response to fresh excise cuts that came into effect at midnight.

within one week cuts like this will be history -eaten bread as they say soon forgotten in an oil and gas crisis that has not even begun to truly hit supply. Temporary expensive fixes like this won't work. Where the long-term energy strategy for transition? www.rte.ie/news/ireland...

Ella McSweeney: Cornafulla Bog is a gold mine. Let’s not squander it Siting wind infrastructure on the Shannon bogs is too high a price to pay for renewable energy

The irreplaceable Shannon bogs warrant full restoration. What we stand to lose by draining them for energy infrastructure is trading a guaranteed long-term asset for short-term expedience and convenience.
