Was that the gig with Eno in ‘89? I missed that one and I missed the American Utopia in 2016. That one missed me totally. As someone said to me ‘understandable, your were in a PhD daze’🤦♂️ I got tickets for the Anne’s Park gig the minute it was announced. I'm looking forward to that even more now!!
Tonights outfit
Tonight marks ab almost 43 year wait to see David Byrne live. I missed the American Utopia gig and the Eno one in ‘89. But since hearing Once in a Lifetime in the summer of 1983 I've been hooked
I was in tower earlier and walking down the stairs there were a bunch of teenagers with Jeff Buckley’s Grace on vinyl.
The kids are alright.
Looks like it's already heating up for a busy year of gigs. Lined up is David Byrne... twice, The Cure, Florence, Elvis Costello, Shannon & Narducy. And a couple of smaller artists at Whelans.
