Reminds me of the bank that looked at its own employees accounts during salary negotiations (and told the union rep).

William Blake’s illustration for “The Tyger” has what appears to be a dippy grin for some reason.

William Blake’s illustration for “The Tyger” has what appears to be a dippy grin for some reason.

The wonderful thing about Tyggers
Is Tyggers are burning bright
Their tops are made out of rubber
In the forest of the night

What bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Immortal hand or eye
Did frame the most wonderful thing about Tyggers,
Their fearful symmetry!

We need to find the "certain threshold" and a binary search over house size is the most efficient way to do it. Since you've selfessly volunteered you should be moved into the biggest house that exists forthwith.

Some people demean ‘to ax’ as a variant of ‘to ask’, but it’s at least 1200 years old.

It stems from Old English ‘ācsian’ with /ks/, a variant of ‘āscian’ with /sk/. Later, Chaucer used both ‘axen’ and ‘asken’.

Swapping two sounds is called metathesis.

More examples from English and its sisters:

I'm sharing this here, as I have on Facebook and Instagram, but there's no account on here to share from, and I just think this is wonderful.

A really good balance of design and implementation, and appears to achieve everything it set out to do, and it *SO* appeals to my inner 'work nerd'.

My colleagues exist in multiple timezones and working cultures (not to mention holiday/sick leave/preferring odd working hours). Basically I have no idea when is convenient for them to read email.

Thankfully none of them have decided to make this anyone's problem but their own.

One of my neighbors has been putting up these fish facts posters. All kinds of different fish, marine, freshwater, deep, shallow, all kinds. This is a good one. “Stg this real fish” took me out. Good work, neighbor.

Step 5
Once the chicken has cooked, let it cool for a few minutes, then take it out of the liquid (but keep the cooking liquid in the pot) and let it cool until you can comfortably handle it.
Pull off the skin and feed it to your dog, then pull off the meat in large shreds (chop the larger ones) and return the chicken to the cooking liquid.

A map showing South West England and Wales, labelled "Graph of British Rivers". Two river courses are shown, labelled 'Wye axis' and 'Exe axis'.

Does anyone read these descriptions, or am I wasting my time?
