If I had to guess what happened here, I would think they have some semi-convoluted asset process, and the social team didn't get the right assets to post to all platforms in time.

I never played OG, but I can totally see this perspective. But also, ignorance is bliss, and for me, the remake never dragged.

I also think the acting and performance capture in remake elevates the material and make the subtext much more accessible for the everyday person.

ESRB has these requirements, not the platform.

So, I think the real answer to your question is that it's not binary, and there are no good or bad endings to this game, just multiple endings that are each up to ethical interpretation and no objectively correct answer. Its like, high art maaaan.

Avowed is interesting. It feels like a game designed 10 years ago, and if you look at the production timeline, that's almost true.

It won't be as appreciated now because its design isn't old enough to be seen as a nostalgic throwback like Pillars, but the future might view it more positively.

Haste: Broken Worlds is clearly going to be a banger of a video game—just a remarkably fun demo.
