Some do care. I do. We see two or three pileated woodpeckers every few years around here, hunting together. I don't see many turtles around the neighborhood any more, though, or frogs. Way too many Copperheads for my taste.

Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly from Encyclopedia Britannica

I saw a Yellow Swallowtail butterfly this morning as I was out feeding the birds. So early in the season!

And if that wasn't enough, it flew by the window an hour later as I was in the kitchen.

Today was my lucky day! 🙂 (Britannica)

This speaks to me today.

The burden is heavy, but when someone says, "Thanks for ALL you do," it feels lighter.

When someone says, "I understand. Here. Isn't this beautiful?" It feels lighter.

When friends smile and take my hand anyway, it feels lighter.

When I see these posts...it's lighter.
