I bet they also have data that shows they retain more players in certain metas. As much as people hate triple sup, the last 4 months have retained returning players more than multiple months of 2025 so it might stay this way until it's not as profitable to have around

new game that traces over the ai gens made in the mobel game
I missed getting this guy on my first playthrough lmao
it's soooo bad lmaoooo 😭 When gen AI got crazy, science, history and D&D Spaces on youtube got cannibalized by it
The concept of having a D&D campaign with yugioh cards sounds so fun but it's so nasty that the D&D spaces is infected with massive amounts of AI
I have like 3 scripts about ygo and I wanna make one more for Kaneko's dumbass
RBET had 358 entrants, grass roots don't need corporate meddling
Yugioh all time gross in 2020 was 19.84 Billion
Yugioh all time gross in 2025 is 20.3 billion
They still getting money but they have been falling behind into the limbo for a while now
Nothing wrong with being in the limbo (I love Digi but at the school I worked at, not a single kid knew what Digi or YGO even was 😭) but it's so crazy to see how much Konami fucked up as far back as 10-20 years ago and all of that coming back to bite them in the ass and drag them down a few spots
YGO is lowkey on it's last legs and if full arts don't push them to stay in the big 3 of card games, they might just end up in the same limbo as digimon sooner than I thought
I'm sure there is ways to change it but the fact that it's the default is kind of problematic for discoverability and getting viewers to be aware you have a new video out or click on something older since your vids will only have 2 slots to work with instead of 8
Would not be surprised if views is down for people because the homepage is ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. 2 long form vids, 5 shorts, 2 more longform vids under and then 5 more shorts AGAIN! CHANGE THIS!
Everything I have discovered about YGO last year will change how you see it from now on, I'm dead serious
The ball dropped right when I was trying to say I wish I had your drink for the new year instead of welches lmao Happy new year 🥳 also as good as the drink looks the butterfly at the top was a chewy wax and I didn't know beforehand so i had a mouthful of candle wax for a minute
Seeing Turn A and alcohol reminds me of a visit to japan a few years back and they were having an gundam exhibition. Anime cafe food in tokyo is terrible but they always have good drinks and I always kick myself for not snapping a picture of the menu to replicate the best drink I ever had
I feel bad making a very long winded explanation on how card games are made but I really need viewers to see what I'm seeing & understand how the industry works. The concept can be a video itself but I have to show you how these things can unintentionally effect the game design for Yugioh WCS 2006
I'm going to go over it in a vid but it's been public knowledge in the east for a bit. Most info on this kind of stuff in general is language blocked. The guy Konami outsourced to spoke about it in a book and vids on youtube. The vids are members only i think?
I remember wizards played a part in making some cards later on in pokemons life. The start was in house/company. YGO is weird cause like 3 parties were involved making the rules of the game and 2 parties were making cards until konami bought one of them so now they technically make the cards now
Very weird to come across info that Konami didn't really make YGO cards till 2001 lmao
Coming out the hole to say it's kinda funny how every facet of media is usually outsourced to several companies. So it's kinda crazy that most trading card players (including me till this year) think the game their playing is 100% made by the company who slaps their name on it
I get it, it's like when I show small snippets and or mention fighting games I love in my videos
I don't like the game awards much but I do admire Geoff Keighley's love for Muppets being so strong they have to be in his show
Going off memory I can hear it oml
Low key kinda have to read the sentence for certain kanji though. certain ones share several meanings. so こんど (ko n do) can mean like next time or this time depending on the rest of the sentence. It's used usually near the start of a sentence you kinda need the whole sentence to know which.
This deck my friend gave me is the kaishi 1.5k. Most other kanji decks usually just is the word but this one has sentences. The sentences sometimes gives away the word is so I try to learn the sentence then ignore it later on cause doing that naturally helped me learn grammar and how sentences form
200 kanji are starting to look familiar now. The human brain is actually crazy cause last week I was kinda getting my ass whoop by some of these but now it's like oh, this sentence is saying someone is getting a gift also that kanji is like receive. Grammar is also naturally coming to me #GBLanki
Fighting game OST's will hold their attention I promise you
Top ten most asked for song in my comments. The whole OST is so fucking cracked! You wanna keep someone looking at your video instead of having it on in the background? Put some COTA in that bitch!
You could not find any merch from it not cause it didn't exist but because it's been sold out for months 😭😭😭
