Exploring Phoenix's East Valley by Bicycle - October 2025 I recently took a 50 mile bicycle adventure around Phoenix's East Valley. Pathways, bicycle routes, and Valley Metro light rail made it a great way to get around.

Some parts of Phoenix are hostile to bicyclists, but not all. Earlier this month, I did a 50 mile loop through Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale. It was a great ride that included a short stint aboard Valley Metro’s new B Line light rail. #bicycling

Few people realize just how much money you can save by trading the car for the bicycle a few times per week. I do my own oil changes at 5k miles and it’s been exactly a year since the last one😮 #carmaintenance #frugal
