The pattern is so clear, color scale nicely muted. I wondered what spatial analysis could do here to show something of an overlaid visual summary. Arrows? contours?

Despite the 19th century discovery of the mode of transmission of cholera and the rapid evolution of its prevention and treatment, it still remains a problem today. More than 16,000 new cases recorded in early 2026, mostly in Africa.
