That’s incredible. And my lived experience is similar. I would have 15-20 migraines a month, and they were debilitating. Since our living on separate coasts, I keep forgetting to take my medication and can count the frequency on 1 hand.

For me it feels like a seesaw. Pluralism and the justice movement make a few gains and white Christian supremacy summons its screaming darkness determined to make us pay for even daring to dream.
Back and forth. The Civil War never ended. It just shape-shifted.

Please don’t misunderstand. I believe we should try for something better. But I don’t see a path to “how” yet.

All good points. Of course the current constitution wasn’t meant to last as long as it has. But we’ll need stronger leaders. Having been reared in the political culture that is now dismantling our democracy, I worry about how dark the night will get.

You’re not gonna get an argument from me. But it took years of work and months of yelling at each other in the Philly heat to get a bunch of white dudes all educated the same way and largely from the same country to get the first flawed constitution.
