A week until our return. The things I miss the most in the US are:
1-our ice making giant fridge
2-taco bell
3- our beautiful house with AC
4- Jamba Juice
5-being away from my family.

Friends who are overjoyed that we are returning to the US vs my parents who have not given an f that we came to Turkiye for them. Life teaches in funny ways. Thankful for the communities I've built around me🫂🥹 thankful for the life we've built brick by brick, by ourselves.

Yesterday at the end of stream I was blessed by our niece who I hadn't seen since October. She's like 80% of the reason @mrstomato.bsky.social and I come to Turkiye so often.
We've acted as partial caretakers since the day she was born, and hope to for the rest of my life. Even with the headshots.
I'm gonna give my giant American fridge with the ice maker a huge kiss as soon as we go back. It's been a week and I'm so dehydrated because why is getting ice so hard here? Why are we filling trays? I NEED ENDLESS ICE BABES!!!!

Fun fact, the writers at CIG wrote Pride into the game lore. Like usual they made a lore event as the catalyst. It involved a anti-unification sheriff arresting an immigrant lesbian couple because gay marriage was illegal on Tram (Croshaw) and one was Trans (Sheriff claimed their ID was forged)

My MacBook is almost 5 years old. She's going strong. Her name is Suzie. Suzie had battery problems so I dropped her off at the Apple store until next week. This will be the longest time I'll be without my laptop. I had two projects going in there🤦🏻 now worried all progress will be lost.

I've always been a troublesome sleeper but somehow I out did myself last night and managed to wiggle my tiny secure earring out of my ear by tossing and turning. Now we're looking for the gold back for it in the bed at 6am 🤣
Kids books will teach you a lot about how a kid might think about things, to what capacity they can think/comprehend what you're sayingat what stagr, and can be used as an effective tool of communication as a care giver. I'm shocked by these numbers.

I listened to her problem and asked if she wanted my help to solve it, she said yes, and we sorted it out together. I've been crying ever since. I've never been prouder🥹 we've compromised and gave up so much to be able to actively help raise her. It's all worth it. She's worth ALL of it❤️❤️❤️
6am this morning my phone rang and it was my mom. I usually call her so I freaked out but it was my 5year old niece calling.
She called me without my mom knowing to share a problem she has that she hasn't told anyone. I'm in the US, she is in Turkiye. I'm her safe place all the way from here🫂🥹
