It’s genuinely such a bad idea to make each book into eight hours of television. The movies are very well made, and they made good decisions about what to keep and what to cut. It’s gonna be so boring.
No shortage of good movies, but I think the bulk of new animated shows I watched last year was basically just Phineas and Ferb and Digital Circus.

So, I was on the episode of Channel KRT that started this whole insane saga with J.C. Alexandre. Most of the time, when they have a guest join them, it’s because the guest has a strong connection to what they’re talking about.
Still, I expected that the remake would sand down Lilo and Stitch’s personalities. What I didn’t expect was for them to change the ending and add a grandma character who renders the entire conflict of Lilo and Nani potentially being separated meaningless.
Oh, I’m right there with you. Lilo and Stitch is literally one of my favorite things Disney has ever done, and Stitch is a great character within his own franchise.
And then there’s mascot/theme park Stitch.

That’s doubtful, considering that Dean DeBlois is directing HTTYD and will actually respect the source material, whereas a lot of people are very rightfully up in arms about the Lilo and Stitch remake.
