I also remember in middle school they made us design spread prevention posters for Ebola and hang them around when there was literally 2 confirmed cases in the US. If a teacher did that during the actual pandemic they would immediately end up on Libs of Tiktok and Fox News

for the past few months I've gotten well meaning messages from students asking how to break in, and then when they show me their boards, they're lacking in fundamental draftsmanship. I hate to say it, but the industry is no longer at a place where we can train people to draw better anymore

surprisingly almost all of these people are actually pretty adept at using storyboard pro, but honestly I don't think that's the stumbling factor of getting hired anymore. People prioritizing learning the program over learning how to draw the human figure is a weird shift I've seen over the years

It's kind of fun seeing the Sonic characters in weird or dark situations in other games because they're usually still upbeat. It's an interesting contrast. Everyone being mopey in this one just made the game monotonous.

Rosebuds: The Complete Webcomic Collection launches next Monday!

I really wanted this to be the ultimate book for the webcomic era of Rosebuds. This book collects all the daily and Sunday comics from 2020-2023 and every Plush Maria comic as well.

I even added newspaper scans as spot illustrations!

I wanted this book to feel like a proper archive of Rosebuds' past, so I took inspiration from other books that did the same thing.

Plush Maria's comics were added because I didn't think I'd ever collect them in its own book, so it was either do it in here or never do it.
