I too have passed it many times. Never stopped to photograph, but have always payed attention to it when passing by. If I recall correctly, I think at some point, someone actually did some work on it.
I’ll pass by it again around Labor Day.

Found this in the morning in the building at work. Never seen one of these “in the wild”. After a consult with some people who know, I got the all clear to let him go in the leaves in the back of the building. Zoomed out for scale while taking video. Apparently, these are native to SoCal.

I grew up in Tucson. LOVE Arizona. However, I transplanted to SoCal in ‘84 for work and two kids and 4 grandkids later I feel I have to stay. That being said my house here came with a Meyers Lemon tree. I too have more lemons than I know what to do with!! Still visit Tucson 3 times a year.
