Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 and 2 are probably my two favourite games of all time, in part because of the fantastic writing and translations. I adore these games but if WH continues with this absolute bs I won't be buying kcd3 or any new release from them. Fuck AI.

I feel like folks expressing surprise at how graphic Larian's new Game Awards trailer is might possibly have forgotten the time they cold announced Baldur's Gate 3 with a trailer that was literally just a depiction of illithid ceremorphosis so up close and detailed it gave some viewers new fetishes.
Modern UI rarely, if ever, contains drawings of skulls, jewels, or naked greek statues. Please do what you can to correct this.
To heal our divided nation I propose splitting Game of the Year awards into two categories:
- Game of the Year That’s 3D and You Use a Sword and/or Gun to Explode a Guy
- Game of the Year That’s Some Gay Bullshit Indie Meditation on Grief or Whatever
credits that include the names of everyone who worked on the game at any point
I'd recommend playing 1 before 2 - it helps you get used to the gameplay systems and story, etc. (it's pretty cheap atm with 80% off too). That being said, 2 catches you up on the events of 1 really well. There's also story recaps and things on the Warhorse Studios yt channel if you need them.

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.
