Ouch! That sounds awful, but I'm glad you got it sorted.
It really does
Harumph. Yes, it does, though it doesn't surprise me.
Canada has lost a champion for human rights, climate and justice. I was honoured to work with #StephenLewis. Love and condolences to his whole family. Such a bittersweet day so soon after #AviLewis win. #RIPStephen
Aw I missed your birthday either here or there! Happy belated (from me and RealTradescantia)
On behalf of the #GPC sincere congratulations to my old friend #AviLewis! Looking forward to working with you. #NDPLeadership
People are calling it a climate change book. I liked it for the aspect you highlight, more than for the (what I thought was) rather minimal world-building.
Two friends and I stopped in there on the way back from hiking Cape Scott.
Might be the greatest opening paragraph of anything ever.

Xander was never one of my favourite characters, but Nicholas Brendan made him as 3D as possible. I feel sad that his life was such a struggle, and sad for the loss of something part of something great.
Oh NO! That's so sad.

Very glad to hear that the Wordsworth Trust has acquired Rydal Mount: wordsworth.org.uk/rydalmount/.
Maybe it is..
Suicide prevention is not telling suicidal people to call a number for cops to take them to the psych ward. Itβs being community for people. People suffer alone. You abandon your sad & mentally ill & lonely friends because they bum you out. Weβre the ones with the duty of caring for each other.
He also obviously has never read Wordsworth
Is Jesse Buckley even there?
An image of Calvin and Hobbes reading comics in their living room.
The immense popularity of βCalvin and Hobbes,β often called βthe last great newspaper comic,β can risk obscuring its many inspirations & antecedents. In both style & content, the strip is very well-versed in the rich history of comics and often pays tribute to its influences. 1/12 #CalvinAndHobbes
I saw it in 2009, can't remember the theatre, but in London. SUCH a beautiful play. The final scene with them dancing and the shadows on the wall has such an impact IRL, much more than just reading it.
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed
mmmm that looks wonderful
A really fine discussion of one of my favourite authors. Without mentioning Blake, Saltzman-Cohen made me start considering that connection, which had not occurred to me before.

I have one of those in my garden right now. Would love to see one growing wild.
Thank you @weratedogs.com for this warning! This is sinister and scary stuff.
