I agree. that is not how academia should work. interestingly, they claim to focus on human rights and give themselves accreditation points for ethics.

The “study visit” was apparently during 2 hours of Thursday’s daytime festival.

Well, that “study tour” was in the official program of the conference: it overlapped with the first 2 hours of the Thursday Day Festival. That’s truly a breach of trust: presenting attendees as zoo animals. Moreover, they gave themselves “ethics credits”.

Indeed: am a good example for that concept myself
