FINALLY, and I can't stress this enough, if someone is doing something with a pile, dont mess with their pile. When they are done they will move the pile themselves. I literally gave up helping because my tried pieces kept getting mixed in with my untried pieces.

Number 2: if there is a small area, try the colors puzzle piece in each possible area then put it in a pile, might cause something like the above point, but gets it out of the way, after the pile is like 10 pieces, move those pieces to a different section

Number 1: Stack pieces of the same color on top of each other, the thing with the code of the jigsaw puzzle makes it so that if pieces are ment to snap together they will. Also go through the pile and make 2 piles, 1 with connected pieces and 1 without, then repeat with the next single piece pile.
