BUSINESS AS USUAL is a 64 page comedy thriller about a crew of twenty-something dissidents in 2035 attempting to take down America’s first off-the-grid, generator powered 🧊 detention center….and also there are giant, carnivorous sand worms.
48 hours in the campaign, crunch time!!

Some timeline stuff:
— We expect to get InfoWars.com after the judge clears it in a couple of weeks.
— We'll build a world of characters on the site and across social media. Tim Heidecker is in charge, and we have grand designs.
— Visit theonion.info, buy a subscription, help us dominate the world.
1. This weekend, a federal judge permanently blocked funding threats to providers and hospitals that provide trans youth care.
The judge also blocked "any similar policy."
Hospitals have NO excuse and must return to providing care under many blue state laws.

Very sharp image of a nodule in the Trifid Nebula showing protuding narrow jets emerging from the rounded tips of the gas clouds.
Zoom in on a clump of a nebula showing a grainy, fuzzy thin line that has a white arrow annotated to it. This is the jet from the protostar. Image is fuzzy taken with my telescope
Ohhhhh ... love doing these.
Left: Hubble Telescope image of a nodule in the Trifid Nebula. That's a thin stellar jet from young stellar object buried in the cloud
Right: same, but from my backyard telescope. Can just see jet!

We have under 48 hours to go. Please consider backing this passion project - re-introducing Dan Dare and space adventure for today's audiences before the campaign ends!
It's also been modified into pesticides because some insects have nicotinic nervous systems.
Do you think that might slow MAHA's self-demise? Screaming 'It's a pesticide!!' at them to play off their ingrained fears? Probably not.
Many of us have actually lost the struggle already. My lab is closing in June, and I'm not the only one. By far.
A close-in zoom on the face of a dilute tortie cat. There's a sharp line of color differentiation on her nose and face, which is grey and orange in quadrants.
*hugs, if wanted*
A micromanaging absentee boss with no authority. What we have all been craving.
I wish her the best and I hope she has a bright future, political and otherwise. <3

Oh, the amazing architecture we could have with Blazed Robot Jesus! Castles from one continent, pyramids from another & a US-style capital dome to top it all off? Blazed Robot Jesus if I have learned one thing from You, it's that sharing is caring, so pass it on. (From the Ass, Gas, Grass parables)

Without Ben Collins tweeting the question of what it would take to buy the Onion, it would probably be gone or defanged...and I don't think many saw that coming. So keep it coming!
A looming storm is forecast to drop more than 2 feet of snow in parts of the Sierra, prompting the weather service to issue winter storm warnings. It’s the second round of winter storm warnings this month in the Sierra, a rarity for April.
Snow drought won't be wiped out, but this will help some.
One thing I long for is a janky photoshop alternative on Mac. Something I can select an outline of a pic to copy/paste or transform or hue shift (raster obvs.)
My 1st PS install was off a stack of 9 floppies. I bought it (really really outside my budget) in college. Adobe can suck it forever now.
Sickening. Disgusting. Why have we allowed this, and can we chain him and every person who enabled this travesty to the same anchor to be dropped into the Mariana Trench?
"I" .... I I Me me me I me I I I Me ME ME MEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Yeah, way to hover up that false glory the gory outcomes of your nighttime emissions results in. Personally, I prefer presidents who don't lick with lust their inverted masturbation socks on social media every morning and night.
Grief is not confined to loss of loved ones. It's also past selves, opportunities, chapters of our lives, etc.
No matter what, the world will live on. It may look completely different, we may need to adapt to survive, we may take out the glorious biodiversity we inherited, and we may end as a civilization. But Earth is nothing but epochs of change and we aren't remotely necessary for its persistence. My hope
LOL I feel the East/West coast earthquake divide on this. I don't fault the EC for freaking out over minor quakes because everything is brick and sometimes centuries old brick, and there are zero codes.
But 'Near epicenter of pretty major quake, felt like a kid was kicking my seat' is WC for sure. 😆
'Your voice is shrill and annoying and too high pitched' to AFAB women. 'I've decided you sound like a dude and it bothers me for some reason. Your voice is too low pitched.' to Trans women. 'It's just the hormones talking.' to anyone who isn't shooting anabolic steroids on the daily.
Impossible.
🆕 The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has captured a renewed view of the Trifid Nebula, a scene it first observed in 1997.

AI footage in the quote post. However it's a real fact, with real footage available (See my link below). Now people who believed it have a false image of how octopus act, and people who recognise it as AI question a real observed scientific fact. Utter bullshit.

"...what's on board..."
Fkk'n POTUS acting like illegally seized vessels are gacha loot boxes. At least the world respects us again.
As I first scrolled into the pic, I thought it was a Busby Berkeley production shot. Kept scrolling for the interesting full pic. Then kept looking...
All the floating model dolls have their head turned away from the camera in a somehow horrifying way. Upside down, turned to the side, heads gone...
A strange cluster of whoops and squeals and yelps and shrieks goes up nearby. "Coyotes or frat boys?" the SO and I wonder. They sound oddly alike from a distance, and both are frequent at this location.
A snow covered mountain against a foreground of a tree in monochrome greyscale. The snow is fresh and white, the sky dimmed by high-altitude misty clouds.
The phone likes to automatically saturate colors that are barely there so I switched to a monochrome filter, which does a better job of catching the snow/sky contrast and doesn't try to paint the sky an unnatural brilliant azure that I guess someone decided makes for better soc media? It's grey.
Ah sweet Guillotina, always waiting to help cool heads when called upon.
