They must have changed. In the 80’s I had a teacher whose parents were in the holocaust and part of watching what that looked like on vcr tapes with the bodies of dead Jews being thrown into fields , to give us a taste of the mindset we had Mein Kampf as a require reading. But that’s the 80’s.

I would guess that’s about the book you read and what wisdom you discovered/uncovered as you went back to read it. You get your hands on Mein Kumpf in high school and learn the annals of life and liberty and become well read and spiritually filled and you’re going to have some animosity there. :)
