For about a year now I've been fantasizing about an entirely new kind of literary event: exciting, theatrical, and a little bit combative. Yesterday at the @barrelhouse.bsky.social conference, @writesloud.bsky.social, @poeticmoni.bsky.social, and @zachpowers.bsky.social and I pulled it off.

Tomorrow @writesloud.bsky.social, @zachpowers.bsky.social, and @poeticmoni.bsky.social and I are trying something new at this conference: a "panel" entirely driven by audience questions, on-stage arguments, props, and a scoreboard. It's going to get rowdy. You want to be there.
