Etrian Odyssey is a lot more relaxing than I was expecting. It elicits the same feeling in me that playing something like picross does. Filling in the little squares just feels so good.

I am happy that The Cure has endured as such an influential act though. Ask basically anyone my age if they like The Cure and they'll almost definitely say yes. Such a cool band.

The choice of this particular track being a single does surprise me though. It isn't a ballad like the lead single from her first two albums, nor is it a catchy pop-rock track like her other hits. It makes me think the album itself might be very weird, or at least a very singular, cohesive work

The 1st half of that new Olivia Rodrigo song is kinda meh but that second half is incredible. I listened to it because of The Cure comparisons but I'm not sure how well they hold, even if there are some similarities in the genre composition.

Roommate convinced me to give Oblivion a try this morning. God this game is awesome. I hate Skyrim even more now how is it so much of a downgrade.

Fuck it's been 2 hours... Etrian Odyssey 3 specifically is just so good that I got sucked in super hard. Controls are a bit awkward but next to that almost everything about the game clicked immediately. Goddamn.

Depends on the rules. In softcore nuzlockes, you usually just count it as an encounter for the area (so if it's on a route, instead of a random encounter you can take the set encounter). Hardcore nuzlockes usually lock you out of them entirely (with the exception of your starter).

I played it for like 6 hours. The only thing I remember is the combat sucking and the gooner robots being annoying. Oh and that the performance was shockingly decent.

I'm playing through MHGU while using multiple weapons so it's taking me a lot longer, but should (hopefully) allow for endgame to be more varied. I'm like 50 hours in and still in Low Rank lol.

MH Rise is officially my most played game on Switch now btw. MHGU is #8 and VERY close to breaking into the top 5. I love Monster Hunter!!!!!!!!!
