A squad of players that got the last manager sacked by not being very good.
Some of them got the manager before that sacked by not being very good.
Some even the manager before that.
6 months in, 3 attackers out and just one rookie wingback in are the only squad changes. What do we expect?

The one touch passing certainly was much better with him there. It’s essential to move the ball quicker and drag players out of position. Certainly think he offers a lot there. Should have scored first half too

This second half display from Bruno Fernandes has been as complete as I’ve seen. Really deserved for that last chance to hit the net. Kobbie Mainoo really looking good in an advanced role too.
#MUFC
United deserve that lead. Nice to score a tap in too.
That’s an archetypal Amorim goal that. Cut back from from one side to the wing back area on the other side.

Yeah we’re not really seeing Maz doing it as much. But yeah it’s certainly a facet he wants in his wide CBs. Honestly this system will work so much better when we have better attacking players at WB
Controlled the game well without providing much threat. Just that Kobbie chance and the Hojlund header really. Not much coming from wide, Martinez if anyone looking the most likely creator and don’t know what that says really

Ruben Amorim: "Garnacho was sick during the week, Amad was on the limits. He is playing every minute." #mufc

Tonight's MOTM: #mufc's travelling support 👏👏
Yeah just barely holding on. People forget they’re not only responsible for the debt but the misappropriation of funds by letting unqualified people make football decisions and waste hundreds of millions in poor transfer and contract decisions
100% mate. We all wanted a full sale but I think that was never on the table, hence JR changing his bid mid process to a partial investment. When the next balloon payments are due he’ll more than likely offer funds for equity, as the club won’t be able to afford them.
Bit weird the narrative he wants to milk the club like the Glazers. He’s a multi billionaire with funds the Glazers could only wish to have. Why would he put what he has into United only to be able to take £5-10m a year in dividends. That’s very much the thin end of the wedge for him.
I find it odd the support wanna turn on Ratcliffe.
He's the guy who thinks he can turn things around. He's our only hope right now. I don't for a second think his motive is anything other than trying to fix the club
He's our only hope. That he can ruthlessly get the club back on a solid footing.
Side note from the football, atmosphere is dreadful. Only noise you can hear is the United fans with a smattering of “Fulham” or the odd boo. In this the kind of atmosphere SJR wants along with Fulham’s prices? #MUFC
A very functional performance tonight. Wasn’t great but we got the win. Think anyone with eyes can tell you where we’re lacking. WB and an attacker is a must this month. We picked up much more once Zirkzee came on and he brought players in to the game much more. #MUFC
Apologies for the lack of activity on here. A lot going on personally but back now and hoping to be much more active as well as hopefully a podcast/YT to preview, Debrief and talk all things United.
United XI v Brighton
RIP Dennis Law
The Trinity together again
United XI v Southampton
As predicted the Eriksen/Casemiro midfield overrun. The full backs basically making a back 5, with no pace up front bar Amad and Hojlund we have little chance of breaking
#MUNNEW
Interesting Mainoo hasn’t been selected too. We shall see. But I have serious doubts
It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed watched United and actually looked forward to a game.
Yes and a lack of legs in key areas too
Not a fan at all. Eriksen and Casemiro will get overrun by that Newcastle midfield and the 2 full backs at wing back is far too defensive.
Manchester United Team vs Newcastle: Onana, De Ligt, Maguire,Martinez (c), Mazraoui, Casemiro, Eriksen, Dalot, Amad Zirkzee, Hojlund.
We could do with someone like that on the pitch let alone the bench
