Good morning gamers! Hope you all have a great day. Here are some #InfinityNikki photos I took this morning.
Since I usually follow The Chicago Manual of Style, I guess I'll just stick with adding the trailing "s". The manual says that either way is correct, but the extra "s" is preferred.
It's a new era in my grammar world. And yes, I do prefer using the Oxford Comma.
TIL that adding an extra "s" to the end of a possessive singular noun that already ends with "s" is actually just a style thing and not an actual rule in English. I've always preferred omitting the extra "s" ("Jules'" instead of "Jules's"), but have gone back and forth with using it over the years.
Off the top of my head, the others are Jak & Daxter, Bioshock, Pikmin and Fire Emblem. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting, and I'm not including evergreen games like The Sims, Animal Crossing, or Cities: Skylines.
Also just realized that Pokémon is one of the few series where I've played multiple games and actually finished all of the ones I started (not counting remakes). And I have a reputation for not finishing games.

- Gen IV (Diamond)
- Gen V (Black)
- Gen VI: (X)
- Gen VIII: (Shield)
I do own Omega Ruby but only ever played like 2-3 hours of it. I believe it's the only remake I have (though I guess Yellow might *technically* count as one too).
I loved Pokémon while growing up, but as I got older and started having less free time I ended up prioritizing other games. The last mainline Pokémon game I played was Shield. Before that, it was X. I don't think I've played any of the spin-offs since Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team.
Honestly, #Pokopia is so good it might actually get me back into Pokémon as a whole.
Finally getting back to reading manga after not touching any for over two years. I used to read a lot but life started getting in the way. Really excited to continue some of my favorite series.
Also this is my first Pokémon-adjacent game in a while. It feels like it was just a few weeks ago that I was playing through Pokémon Shield, but it's actually been almost SEVEN YEARS 😭
I bought #Pokopia on Friday without realizing just how much of a danger it is to my free time. Almost every waking hour since then has been spent playing Pokopia, and every hour not spent playing Pokopia has been spent thinking about Pokopia. I'm obsessed. I'm cooked. I'm Ditto.

Thinking of writing an #ObsidianMD plugin that tracks the daily server reset times for online games. It would show the current server time, the reset time in UTC, the reset time in you local time zone, and a countdown to the next reset. It'd be similar to Game Time Master but embedded in your notes.
Got today and tomorrow off. Will probably spend most of my time playing #InfinityNikki, playing #Timberborn, and working on some small programming projects.

Haven't touched Slay the Spire in over 4 years. Got StS2 and somehow managed to fumble my way to a win on my first run. So much for being rusty, lol
Based on my previous history, my win rate will absolutely plummet once I reach A7.
As a homelab enthusiast my ultimate goal is to eventually own all of my music and either listen to it locally or stream it from my own media server. I'm already doing that for everything I have on CD, but there's still lots left to buy. I'll always be in love with my CDs and vinyl records.
I've been paying for Spotify for at least 8 years, I think. Only reason I didn't move to YT Music sooner was because I hadn't really looked into it and wasn't sure about its catalog or feature parity. Guess I'll find out pretty soon which one I actually prefer.
Making the switch from Spotify to YT Music. I've already been paying for YT Music for a while through my YT Premium sub, so there's not really much point in paying for both services.
I hadn't even thought about the fact that I'm paying for both until I got the Spotify price hike email this week.

My brain internalizes all of my failures as "you didn't put in ANY effort so you deserve to fail and feel bad about it", regardless of how much time and energy I actually put into Doing The Thing.
Started playing #ShiningNikki two days ago because actively playing two other dress-up gacha games with daily tasks wasn't enough, apparently.
Learning to make my own Stream Deck icons was a great decision. Now my keys all look consistent and I can have any custom icon I want, without being restricted to whatever is on the marketplace. There's a lot of good icon packs out there, but they can't cover every single use case.
Can't believe my partner called the server room "forbidden spaghetti". I swear it's not that bad 😭
