I made some progress with Big Mouth last night
I’m closer to the Beam and also closer to fighting Stephen King behind the bike sheds. I may actually have to put the book in the freezer.
Me today: I’ll park up after lunch in my room, do some reading, play some Dragon Age 2. First part of my plan: flawless. Second derailed by Lily (cat) who is 15, deaf, mostly toothless and is sans ears and part of her nose. She had taken over my chair. So … I kept reading.
Oh yeah, I do get that but it’s so enjoyable. I decided to go through all the dragon age games again this year. I’m into act 2 of DA2 and it’s so much fun.
I tried to avoid as much feedback as possible so I could play it for the first time with no bias. I ended up enjoying it so much I immediately started another play through. It’s a lot of fun.
A little closer to the Tower and a little bit more progress with Big Mouth.
Best of both worlds
Nice. I’m partial to chicken flavour myself
What flavour?
A bit closer to the Tower, and I’ve read a bit more of Big Mouth by Matt Preston
Same here 😊
I shall do some spelunking, thank you
Hive mind …. Where are we buying ladies plus size cardigans? Lately every cardigan I but gets a split on the neck seam and I wear cardigans every day.
I’ve started reading Matt Preston’s autobiography Big Mouth and I’ve chipped away at The Dark Tower a little.
Made some decent progress I think.
I finished The 4.50 From Paddington. Perfect timing too - I was finishing it just as a thunderstorm came through.
A hardback book of the Dragon Age Inquisition game hide. The cover shows a character with a raised glowing green arm and a flaming sword. The clouds appear to be in the shape of a dragon.
Found an unexpected op shop treasure today - Dragon Age Inquisition Collector’s Edition Prima Official Game Guide. It also has a map of Thedas. Hardback, really good condition, $30.
Cute pattern and I absolutely love that idea! I may have to steal it
I have a feeling I’ll be needing a bit of a balm when I finally finish. Agatha Christie has been one of my favourite authors since I was 12. I can think of worse authors to be reading if you’re stuck in hospital.
Agatha Christie is one of my comfort authors for sure. I don’t own Wind Through the Keyhole but it is on my post Dark Tower reading list.
I had an easy pregnancy and an emergency c-section which I recovered from pretty easily. But I know myself and there was honestly no way I could do that again. Son of Mine I almost 19 and we’re close - I don’t know if that would have happened otherwise.
I was reading it on my lunch break at work yesterday which was not the best idea
The Dark Tower broke my heart yesterday and I’m only halfway through. Made some good progress on The 4.50 From Paddington.
I’ve just read the Battle of Algol Siento. BRB, putting The Dark Tower in the freezer.
I’m a little closer to the Tower. I also started re-reading an old favourite - The 4.50 From Paddington by Agatha Christie
Not a lot yesterday as I had quiz but managed a few pages of The Dark Tower
I finally finished the Margaret Beaufort biography.
I did! Started about 8am and allowing for breaks etc, I finished ROTK about 10pm
THE BEACONS ARE LIT
