I haven't been on here in a while. Or anywhere really. And it's been so nice to be off social media. 😌 But I see it's actually hard to be in tech and not on the media. So... hi everybody! 👋🏾 I'll be posting stuff again!

I finally get to fly again next week! This new school seems way more organized than the last. Now it's time to tighten up the study schedule and pass the written exam. 👩🏾‍✈️

My flight school is closing next month. 🙃 Didn't see that coming.

Days like this make me realize I prefer humid weather, even if it's hot and muggy. I thought I liked dry heat better until I went to Denver in July and just dried out and burned.

I'm working on that book with O'Reilly and it feels like it's coming along pretty well this time around. But it really took away from my blog post writing time. 😅 I might start writing about non-tech stuff to help not burn out. Again...

My mom adopted me when she was 74 and almost lived to see me finish my masters. She was and still is undefeated.

I started pilot lessons last November! I still have some hours to get before I have the real private pilot license, but I'm getting closer. I also leared Cessna 172s have a certain... jank factor that makes them feel like an old car you have to tap right. Lol.

I stopped posting on the bird app last November, but I kinda missed it. Everybody says it's better over here so I'll try again!
