Even worse than that is when it’s first thing in the morning and you realise you’re going to have to bend over and pick up the shit…

Is there anyone on here who can advise what I should pay our cleaner of two months who is taking five weeks’ holiday next month? We’ll miss three sessions. No idea what’s expected in these circumstances.

Perhaps not, but I still didn’t want us to sell him at the time!

Don’t remind me. A crazy decision to sell him at all, but he’s obviously having a blast in Italy and frankly he deserves it.

I’m sure #FedEx is one of the more expensive couriers, yet I don’t think we’ve ever had a delivery from them go smoothly. We’re now almost three hours beyond the four hour window; Evri and Yodel are much more reliable. 🤯

If you search TikTok for Hurricane Melissa videos right now, you'll see a flood of AI-generated and fake videos.

These AI videos include eye of the storm views from above, sharks swimming in floodwaters, huge waves battering towns, destroyed airports, and fake news reports.

He thinks women can have penises. For that alone he is not a credible politician.

Rachel wearing very flimsy looking apron, mask and visor in NHS setting

Here I am in 2020 in the flimsiest, most pitful PPE - like so many other NHS staff, some of whom died from the Covid they caught in their hospitals.

Tory peer Michelle Mone - who today lost her legal case & must repay the govt £122m - dares to claim she’s been ‘scapegoated’.

What, Michelle? 🧵

Do not remotely see the appeal of these. Baffling.

At a glance I thought you were late, lamented Martin from EastEnders…

Much like the Good Law Project. They lose most (all?) of the time, yet supporters queue up to throw money at them every time they ask for donations. Baffling.

Being mocked for buying a salad spinner for pasta. Why not?

And yes, it will be used for fruit and veg too…

Not so keen on being chucked out after an hour! Can you imagine that today?!

Ballon d'Or 2025: Scott Mctominay nominated after Napoli title victory Former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is among the 30-name shortlist for the 2025 Ballon d'Or award.

So pleased that things are going so well for McSauce. Still so gutted that we sold him in the first place. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Take it you’ve done a search by filename, assuming you can remember one? V frustrating but difficult to help when you don’t have access to the kit!

Not a techy, but did it save to the Cloud rather than the external HD? Easily done on my MacBook.

Friends are happy with their John Lewis one but it’s a bit early to talk about durability.

Urgh, insomnia is grim. Good choice for wee small hours viewing though!

Haven’t watched it in years (since I got my first job), but I did watch what was supposed to be the final episode. Nice to see Mike and Plain Jane Superbrain again! A springboard for a lot of careers, and it’ll be missed.

600 episodes in 6 weeks?! Wowsers. It was great in the early days though. Required viewing after school!

Yeah, not happening. So are me and this place done, then? Pathetic.

Not a fan of lamb or creamy sauces, don’t like the spices used in most UK Indian food, am not keen on v hot food, am not vegetarian. As far as I know that rules out quite a lot.
