Yup. I like formulaic music, pop music, etc, so I've known I'd be an easy mark for a while, but it still sucks to have my hypothesis confirmed.
I'm so disappointed. I knew this moment was coming, it was inevitable with the content slopification that is everywhere and the kind of music I mindlessly put on, but I'm still very disappointed.
Just learned that a new artist I've been enjoying is making heavy use of AI to create the songs I've been perseverating on. So not only do I have to scrub them from my playlists and library & give up those latest earworms, I also have to worry about the fact that I didn't notice it organically.
