I was going to bring up lutefisk too, and yes, people do actually eat it. My ex's father loved it and his mom would be the dutiful wife and serve it at the holidays. But she also made lefsa(sp) which made me come up with my Norwegian blessing.."May your lefsa be light, and your lutefisk far away"
