It feels like you can determine the quality of a Jack Black show based on his song in the monologue, with #1 of course being the King Kong one in ‘05.
I see he took the Chris Rock approach of wearing his glasses in almost everything which led to some unintended laughs like the end of the 300 sketch.
A bit more middling than his last episode unfortunately, but Black’s energy carried a lot throughout the night.
