- need a way to interface with standard tech without having to pay extra for it
- need a way to replace broken parts without having to pay extra for it
Three things that are MANDATORY for any device:

Hi, I'm one of the artists who left twitter because it steals our work with no opt-out. I'm also a book author plaintiff in a case against an ai company. Nobody likes ai except tech ppl in tech central. The majority of Americans do not like ai. The majority of Bluesky users do not like ai.
Some political questions actually just have correct answers, and greater "diversity of thought" on those questions will just mean a higher tolerance for unqualified people offering nonsense takes on the issue.

Personally don't recommend these. As the article notes, these properties are typically achieved through PFAS, which can shed carcinogens in your home (which you then inhale) or come out in the wash (polluting waterways for decades). Will try to do a thread on how to treat stains in the wash.
Don't expose your brain to generative AI. It's incredibly harmful, according to new studies out this year. Overuse of smart phones and social media has a reversible effect if you go cold-turkey, but generative AI appears to have longer-term effects. Colonizing your brain to stoopid.

Oh, absolutely. I'm a big believer in Star Trek doing biting, serious, pertinent social commentary and having important things to say, but I think it needs to be able to lean into the inescapable goofiness of the whole thing, too. Silly episodes would be a must.
