At first I was kind of annoyed, but seeing the statement they put out changed my mind tbh. If the choice was it either happening in the way it is now or completely throwing the opportunity for it to ever happen again in the future, I dont really blame them for doing it the way they are.

Thinking of picking up a cheap m.2 SSD (to the extent that such a thing exists, mind you) to maybe dual boot something like Fedora when Fedora 44 comes out. It may also find itself on another computer of mine. I'm just really liking how flexible KDE is.

i need to learn how to repair plaster after i dented the fuck out of my wall when blacking out suddenly. fortunately that seems to have been the worst thing that happened, apart from some bruises and a little bump on my head.

I go out once and this is what i get. The lesson is that the outside is dangerous.

The original PS5s had a problem where the liquid metal for the CPU would start pooling if the console was vertical, and would eventually leak out onto the board and components, with predictable results. The slim ones "fixed" that but the fact they dont provide vertical stands is telling.

I'm just increasingly overcome by a feeling that I'm fed up and something has to change but I have no idea what or how to make it happen, and whatever I try leads to very little. Maybe its depression, maybe its just beign stuck inside all the time. Maybe both.

Been feeling a little defeated lately, with one thing and another happening in life. Whether its legal things, programming becoming more a struggle than enjoyment, health being on an eternal decline, or just generally being fed up of being stuck here with no real escape. But, we continue I suppose.
