FFS Starmer is again posting multiple times in the name of othering asylum seekers, an entirely legal thing to be.

Yet there are still people in his party who would have you believe he's a moderate; when in reality he's a right-wing former human rights lawyer who sanctioned and supports a genocide.

Well, to be fair to America (I know, it’s hard, but I’m gritting my teeth), the creation of β€˜Christianity … antithetical to … Christianity’ actually dates back to the foundation of the first church and the establishment of Catholicism … !

Behold, the sagging skin of a dying empire, stitched into crosses and stripes, flapping like the carcass of a slaughtered beast. These flags aren't pride, they're rot on a pole, the stink of history’s crimes baked into cloth.

Nationalism is by default unimaginative and paradoxically every example of it is broadly similar to other examples everywhere else in the world.

It's always about flags and chants and xenophobic exceptionalism. The mantra of people who don't have the imagination to actually love where they live.

Thursday x8 of post-proscription β€˜terrorist’ activity, and I still support Palestine Action without qualification. Today Private Eye reports that the MoD is doing a huge deal with Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems, which was one of the major targets of Palestine Action. Just a coincidence, eh.

The problem isn't Netanyahu - it's a society in the grip of genocidal mania.

Proscription Sunday x5, I still support Palestine Action without qualification, and Israel is still a pus-filled boil on the face of the planet.

Oh dear… another skunkbrained shitspigot for the bin. Still, at least he’ll have lots of other Nazis to chat to.

Great news: the High Court has granted permission for a full judicial review of the government's order proscribing Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act.
Let's hope he government's idiotic and draconian order is overturned.

These pictures will be remembered for centuries.

Future generations will ask:

"Who did what, and when?

Who made this abomination possible?

Who spoke out - and who remained silent?"

Make sure you have good answers.

"Is Britain about to blow?" asks Matt Goodwin promoted a two hour special event on the subject.

Their greasy desperation for violence and carnage, so they can profit off it, is so disgusting.

Well, it’s a start. But until we find out how it is to be structured, and who will be pulling the strings (preferably not Jeremy’s old fixers like Andrew Murray), I’ll stick with the Greens and hope Zack wins the leadership.

Pity Ozzy’s objection to hate didn’t extend to opposing rather than supporting the genocide in Gaza.

Proscription Thursday x3, and we should all support Palestine Action without qualification. But while anti-genocide protesters are called terrorists, our Labour government says we should take seriously the concerns of sociopaths, racists & fascists laying siege to accommodation for asylum seekers …

As we remember the victims of the appalling 7/7/05 attacks and their aftermath (remember Jean Charles Menenez, anyone?), we can at least look forward with pleasure to the state throwing the book at these shameless supporters of terrorism.

The behaviour of McDonnell, Burgon, Lewis, Whittome et al makes it clear they would have to be pushed rather than taking the jump - they are way to chained to the Labour machine. The Labour Party will die, and they are in danger of being buried with it.

2/2 I still have doubts about the GP as long as Berry, Cato & others like them have serious influence, though Polanski could be a step forward, & I have been considering rejoining. The Sultana/Corbyn party is a long way off yet, & we need an alternative now, for forthcoming locals. I am teetering …

I was a member of the GP for a while (in Camden as it happens), but left when Sian Berry and her appalling hard-line Zionist agent in the London Mayoral election started smearing Labour members leaving the party for the GP as potential anti-semites. 1/2

He's right.
But also: this was exactly how some of us warned the Terrorism Act 2000 would be used when it was passed, by the government in which Peter Hain was a minister. He and all the others either ignored or dismissed our warnings. It's very frustrating.

Bear in mind that if you held up a sign saying "I support genocide", you would not be arrested under the Terrorism Act.

The excellent Black Country, New Road at Glasto. A shout out for Palestine Action, too. Will the BBC pull this from the iPlayer?
