Could it be that some people own more things than they need to live and that they use these things (extensive land, industries, platforms, etc.) to explore the workforce of others? Could it be that the overlap between explorer and abuser is big?

I have a question for parents.
My son is 2yo and he saw the scene of Jurassic Park where a T-Rex tries to eat children. He was fine through out the scene and cheered when the children escaped. Since then, he does not sleep alone and is afraid of dinosaurs. It’s been 10 days.

It’s a dilemma.
IMO: The type of relation so as the age and the education of people should be taken into consideration when we choose our actions and words. We cannot act in the same way with all people we love. “Loved person” is not a description of the person but a description of the loving one.
Change is possible. It’s not like emancipation and it takes an enormous amount of work from relatives.
I‘d prefer a world where my family ties were protected by conditioned access to journalism, closure of conspiracy networks, prohibition of news ads and capitalist owned news rooms.
At the end of his life, he was proud that he did not vote for Jair Bolsonaro, whom he thought at election day could be a good candidate to prevent a “leftwing lunatic” like the neoliberal Professor Fernando Haddad.
We kept daily contact and he left a nice letter to my son, who was not yet born.
He understood he would lose contact with me if he detached more from reality and he opted to push back these thoughts when speaking to me. I for one talked to him every day and became a reality checker for him, pointing him to fact check sites, socialist press… I demystified the “hot topics”.
