Oh, I would have been so pissed off. That's absurd. No need for that nonsense.

The appointment was at 745 but they require you to arrive 15 minutes early. If you don't, they call and text non-stop. And that hospital is 45 - 60 minutes away depending on traffic. Most work days, I'm getting up at 6:30.

I don't think non-Black people understand how much Black people calculating spaces as to whether they'd be hostile to Black people.

It's the same way I think men don't understand that women navigate spaces thinking about whether or not they'd be safe

Monday and my school is closed for Patriot's Day. It's also spring break for most public schools in the state. Not for us though since we're a daycare. But at least I have today off.

I would love an affordable, good quality, color eink tablet onto which I could download Kindle, Kobo, Audible, Bookshop.org, Libro, Libby and Hoopla. Now, *that* would meet my needs.

I intensely dislike reading ebooks on my phone but Hoopla is a handy app, nonetheless. I got an ebook that has a 6 week wait on Libby. Downside? It's a 600 page book. On my phone. 😞😓
