Later in the day, we had discussions in smaller groups on different aspects of women's access to justice. We finished by learning about leadership and how to make real change happen, to take our insights from the day into meaningful action.
While there was such a breadth of topics, one of my key takeaways from throughout the day was that rights matter when people know they exist and are able to and know how to access them

International Women's Day is a time to celebrate women and their contributions, but also to reflect on the reality of women's rights today.
1 in 4 countries reported a backlash on women's rights in 2024. Globally, women have just 64% of the legal rights of men.
