To cap off the event, students were offered the unique opportunity to try on Mr. Hoffman’s championship ring, awarded to him after the Celtics' victory in the 2024 NBA Finals.
During his visit, Mr. Hoffman delivered a presentation on the Celtics’ support for the Raise the Age bill–which aims to gradually raise the age of juvenile jurisdiction in MA–sharing his experiences advocating on Beacon Hill alongside four-time NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown.
In honor of the @celticsnba.bsky.social’s first playoff win of 2026 this past weekend, let’s look back at Senior Vice President of Community Engagement for the Boston Celtics Dave Hoffman’s visit with the #BULaw Legislative Policy & Drafting Clinic last fall!

The team was joined by trial techs and alternates Diego Mahoney (’28) and Israel Paredes (’28) and were coached by Sarah Eastland (’26) and Maurice Cohen (’27).
