1950s Board Game Petting Zoo Event in Livonia, MI by Livonia Public Library on Saturday, September 13 2025

This weekend, we're running "Play in the 1950s" for the Livonia Library. In the event, we'll let kids play with games and toys that were popular with kids in the 1950s. Things like Tiddly Winks, Clue, Candy Land, Scrabble, and more.

Play Library The Play Library is just like a regular library but instead of books, we lend toys and games!

In an interesting turn of events, we'll be headed to Cincinnati this weekend to get a HUGE head start on our plans for advancing our Play mission in Michigan.

The amazing playlibrary.org is donating their inventory and furniture to us.

This advances our plans in huge ways. Stay tuned!
