You are unlikely to jeopardize anything--administration wants you to graduate--and you will have recourse if some sort of retaliation happens.

Also, mentioning to the professor in a constructive way might help. Even if it seems like you get brushed off, now your complaint is on their mind.

AI use like that would be very hard to defend. A brief discussion with a chair will usually have the professor re-adjusting, often with no real hard feelings. IF your concerns are dismissed and you see no change in the professor, then move up to student advocacy or administration such as the VPAA.

Bring it to the department chair/head if you can. Chairs tend to be very concerned with recruitment and program appearance. They can be your advocate. Frame it as devaluing your education and the program. A good chair will stick by their professors if the prof is in the right, but -

Every time I have to grade an insipid little AI discussion post, I just remember that they will soon have to turn in essays with sources. I’m going to enjoy checking every source/asking how they got their hands on a $200 book that doesn’t exist in any local library — for an art appreciation class!

When art doesn't come easy or quickly, I can start to feel like I must just be lazy. Which is so silly! If I said that to someone else, they'd be right to think I'm an ass. Unfinished project/sketch dump to remind myself that I draw plenty and my projects will be finished in their own time.
