Happy 15th anniversary to one of my favourite games of all time, Portal 2!

Released on the 18th of April 2011, Portal 2 is an incredible game. From the art direction to the level design, every aspect of this game is top-tier.

I can't recommend this game enough!

If you beat Syphon Filter 2 on Hard Mode, you unlock a bonus video featuring all the characters from the game dancing in a nightclub.

I always love seeing quirky easter eggs like this in video games!

Last week, I saw the original Blade Runner on the big screen!

Praising Blade Runner almost 44 years after its release is a bit like preaching to the choir, yet every time I watch it, I'm still caught off guard by its brilliance.

Happy 11th anniversary to Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, which was released on the 2nd of April 2015.

The fact that Monster Games was able to bring a home console game of this calibre to a handheld system in 2015 is nothing short of impressive!

If you pop the PS1 disc into a CD player, it will function like a regular music CD, and you can listen to the game's awesome soundtrack. You can even use a program like Exact Audio Copy to rip the music and put the files on your Sony Walkman.

Happy 27th anniversary to Grand Theft Auto London, which was released on the 31st of March 1999!

Still love all the nods to British pop culture in this game, and the included poster is a clear homage to the classic Michael Caine film, Get Carter.

Happy 20th anniversary to Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast, which was first released in Europe on the 31st of March 2006.

Easily one of my favourite racing games of all time, and twenty years later, it's still brilliant!

It's a real shame that this game got such a limited release. The timing of the game's release couldn't have been worse, releasing just two days before the last Dreamcast was made.

If you released IIllbeed today, it would sell extremely well since there's a much wider appreciation for horror games.

There's a lot of merchandise for the F1 movie, but the coolest tie-in is definitely the cassette soundtrack.

It's surreal to play a cassette with a copyright of 2025 on a Sony Walkman made in 1993.

A bit late to the party, but I finished Exit 8 and found all the Anomalies.

A simple but fun little game with a distinct art style. You show anyone a random screenshot of Exit 8, and they will recognise this game.

Next stop, Platform 8!

I have a bit of a soft spot for Tomorrow Never Dies on the PS1 since it was the first 007 game I owned as a kid.

While it never reached the same popularity as Goldeneye on the N64, it does excel at making you feel like you're playing an interactive 007 flick, with all the different set pieces.

The E3 2000 trailer for the cancelled PS2 release of The World is Not Enough, which was being developed by EA Redwood Studios.

The PS2 version was cancelled in favour of an original 007 adventure, Agent Under Fire, and you can definitely see some of the DNA of that game in this footage.

Happy 26th anniversary to Metal Slug 3, which made its debut in arcades on the 23rd of March 2000!

While Metal Slug X will always be my favourite game in the franchise, there's no denying that Metal Slug 3 ranks highly amongst fans and is often heralded as the best entry in the series.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Resident Evil (also known as Biohazard in Japan), which was first released in Japan on the 22nd of March 1996.

While the GameCube remake is an amazing game, you can't beat the B-grade charm of the original PS1 release.

Happy 21st anniversary to the God of War series! The first game was released in North America on the 22nd of March 2005.

Word of advice, don't turn God of War into a drinking game by taking a sip every time Kratos says, "What is this treachery?" - You will get drunk very fast.
