When you build AI agents, it’s tempting to think big.

In this blog, I explain how we build AI agents step by step

Dataverse pay-as-you-go: storage allocation

Dataverse pay-as-you-go: storage allocation

I wasted $400 worth of Azure credits on Dataverse PAYG bills, only because I didn't check this one box.

And that's just one environment in my personal tenant. Imagine how many customers are paying $48/GB/mo for #Dataverse when they could have used existing tenant-level entitlements.🤑

Success rate of Power Platform Monitor Alerts is now 31% after two months. Yes, you'd still be better off flipping a coin that trusting these Managed Environments features to alert you when your business process automation is failing.

Microsoft’s Copilot can now build apps and automate your job — here’s how it works

"We have this mantra called no cliffs," Lamanna said. "If your app gets too complicated for the App Builder, you can always edit and open it in Power Apps. You can jump over to the richer experience, and if you're really sophisticated, you can even go from those experiences into Azure."

Where is the “edit in Power Apps” button for App Builder agent apps?!?!

Power Apps was powerful because of the "no cliffs" mantra. Because of the graphical and model-based designer experiences for app makers.

AI agents like App Builder in M365 Copilot aren't like that. They are just an LLM, spitting out code for a React app. There is no "edit in Power Apps" button.

Trust and Insights are related. Valuable input imo. Will you provide your flipcoin solution to the public so organizations can see it for themselves?

Assistants without hands When everyone talks about agentic AI, it's all too easy to forget how AI assistants like Copilot today can't be trusted to do things for us - if it involves anything more than talk.

Metaverse gave us avatars with no legs. GenAI gave us AI assistants with no hands.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is sold as your personal AI assistant. Yet it can't handle 1) creating Outlook appointments, 2) comparing Excel lists, 3) talking to it about your agenda.

Worth a watch:

Head of Signal, Meredith Whittaker, on so-called "agentic AI" and the difference between how it's described in the marketing and what access and control it would actually require to work as advertised.

Microsoft Copilot flaw raises urgent questions for any business deploying AI agents Microsoft fixed the Copilot flaw, but researchers warn the real danger lies in how all AI agents are built.

Prompt injection means email viruses are back. A researcher found a security vulnerability where you send an email with hidden instructions which when CoPilot scans the email, executes and then hides the source of the instructions.

It took Microsoft 5 months to fix the issue.
