Power Apps was powerful because of the "no cliffs" mantra. Because of the graphical and model-based designer experiences for app makers.

AI agents like App Builder in M365 Copilot aren't like that. They are just an LLM, spitting out code for a React app. There is no "edit in Power Apps" button.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is sold as your personal AI assistant. Yet it can't handle 1) creating Outlook appointments, 2) comparing Excel lists, 3) talking to it about your agenda.

Prompt injection means email viruses are back. A researcher found a security vulnerability where you send an email with hidden instructions which when CoPilot scans the email, executes and then hides the source of the instructions.

It took Microsoft 5 months to fix the issue.
