Miles Davis released Live Evil this week in 1971. The rawness and the sound is fresh. This is a sub genre of jazz that resonates so hard with so many people.

My quick take on jazz ed: students should actually listen to jazz music to learn how to play it.

I’m here for the music. Specifically jazz, but not just the swinging type of jazz. I also like the groove stuff and the face melting funk. Dig?
