基礎工事は目には見えなくなる部分なので、ついつい写真をたくさん撮ってしまいます！

この建物を支え、将来の安全を守る「土台」となる非常に重要なプロセスですね。無事に終わりますように。

この基礎工事が完了次第、次は上棟へと進みます。

また、今週は醸造設備の注文も完了したところ。これから設備の詳細設計書や配送スケジュールの話し合いも始まります。

海外の友人の方々からのご支援に関しまして、少し問題が発生いたしました。しかしながら、それ以外の点では、クラウドファンディングは驚くほど順調に進んでおります。残り40日を残しながら、すでに83％の達成率に達しております。

Our application for the national grant subsidy for the brewery has been submitted! Should find out by the end of June if we can start building or if we go back to the drawing board rr: funding.

Now we are working on the daunting task of applying for our brewing licence!

Irn Bru is Scotland's second national drink, a soda which outsells Coca Cola domestically (or did at some point).

Maybe this is a research project for the next time I am back in Scotland.

Two of my favourite breweries back in Scotland are making Irn Bru inspired beverages.. and it's got me wondering if such a unique beer would go down well in Japan.

After all we are going to be a Scottish beer brand over here. I even started searching for Iron Brew recipes online to no avail.

Busy few months lined up with 5 business trips (all hastily planned over the last few days).

We don't have our brewery yet, though progress is being made with that. Despite this we are off to talk to craft beer bars, shops, Scottish pubs in Yokohama, Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Okayama. Fun times!

are we talking US pint sizes or UK? pretty steep either way but would feel very slightly little less so with the extra ~100ml.

Could really do with a beer but don't want a 40 minute round trip after getting the kids to bed just to have craft.. living rurally has its challenges!
