A quick note.
Leading Well Founding Circle closes tomorrow.
People have been joining quietly over the past week. Some straight away, some after sitting with it.
No rush, no pressure. Just a space for thoughtful leaders who want to think and grow.

This is why the Government's strategy is doomed. The British public's view of immigration is completely disconnected from reality, and copying the last government by pursuing increasingly vicious crackdowns on legal migration is delivering the same outcome.

Whichever way you look at it, this is a significantly superior economic performance.”
I've actively chosen to travel to Malaysia for a programme later this year because the other options were the US and I'm not going there (even if I'd be let in with my social media 🙄).
All of us!! Stand and Demand!

Day 1 of the @hospice_uk conference and looking forward to hearing about policy and work within the palliative & end of life care, and hospice sectors.
I'm particularly looking forward to being a part of the CEO safe space panel later today & hearing from the health minister later.

We want the media and politicians to recognise that there is a large number of women who are supportive of the trans+ community. We call on them to report truthfully about the sources of violence against women and to address the systems that perpetuate harm. notinourname.org.uk/petition/not...

This tribute honours my late Uncle Tony; a quiet, powerful leader. One of his last messages to us was about unity.
The symbols connect me to him and to my purpose. 6/7
🔸Dwennimmen – strength, humility
🔸Adinkrahene – leadership, charisma
🔸Nea Ope Se Obedi Hene – “He who wants to be king”
A reminder that leadership starts with service. 5/7
I didn’t want my face on both covers. So I turned to my roots.
The back cover features 3 Adinkra symbols from Ghana - a tribute to culture, legacy & leadership. 4/7
Some of you voted for the final design. Others messaged privately to say how powerful it was to see someone who looks like them on a leadership book.
That meant the world. 3/7
I wanted a cover that reflects who I am.
I loved the one with my photo, but I hesitated.
Would it put people off?
Your encouragement made the choice easy. 2/7
“My daughter said, ‘If a picture of you puts someone off… maybe the book isn’t for them.’”
She was right.
That’s how I chose the cover for A Little Book of Leadership Lessons. 1/7

What. A. Day.
Podcast in Liverpool with Northern Power Women (we talked leadership & my new book), then back to Newcastle for the first Northern Leaders event in the NE.
Biggest takeaway? Don’t feel guilty about what you can’t do, celebrate what you achieve.
But why bother with facts Mr Grimes
On 25 May, I’m taking on The Big Hike a 12.4-mile hike along Hadrian’s Wall to raise funds for St Oswald's hospice.
We want to see more and better palliative and end of life care for more people in more places & that takes £££s.

It's interesting that you think they've been ignored. The various iterations of this party have been platformed beyond their impact for years
There’s an amendment being pushed into the Data Bill to put everyone’s gender on official records back to their sex at birth, even if they've legally changed it.
It’s not just erasure, it puts trans people at risk of being outed without consent.
