I fw the kind of lineage work where we thread-pull long enough to remember that MS-13 was born in America as Salvadoran refugees fled Reagan-backed death camps.

Hard to believe but 18 years ago, I sent the great Alfonso Cuaron an advance copy of The Shock Doctrine and asked if he might be willing to write a blurb.

He made a short film instead. This is it. Still chills me.

Share with whoever you think it might help.

DON'T OPEN FOR ICE

Papers or not, everyone has certain rights they can use when an agent is trying to deport them. We are work-ers with dignity and we deserve to stay where we are. One of the most important things to remember is to refuse to open the door unless ICE has a signed warrant from a judge.

ICE CANNOT LEGALLY ENTER YOUR HOME WITHOUT THIS WARRANT. If an ICE agent or someone you suspect is from ICE knocks on your door, calmly and firmly ask them to slide the warrant under the door.

* DON'T OPEN if the agent doesn't have a warrant.
* DON'T OPEN If the agent shows you a warrant that doesn't have a signature on it.
* DON'T OPEN If the agent shows you a warrant signed by someone who is not a judge.
* DON'T OPEN If the agent shows up and says they're from the local police and just want to talk.
* DON'T OPEN If the agent shows up and has a signed warrant from a judge but the person listed does not live at your address.
