i will not be watching the finale in theaters because it's not a show i want to experience with other people. i'm genuinely annoyed that i'm likely to be spoiled, and i would be happier if it didn't release in theaters. i still get why they're doing it and can't bring myself to hold it against them.

several things can be true at once here:

- it's really cool for indie animation like this to be in theaters
- it's a real negative consequence that people have to deal with spoilers for two weeks. that sucks.
- glitch actively chose the path that led to that
- it's almost certainly still worth it

really excited for rhythm heaven, although the like 30 seconds of a minigame song we hear in the new trailer reminds me of some of the worse tracks from megamix, which makes me a touch nervous.

using the Switch 2 and the Ayn Thor has made me desperately wish that the Steam Deck had a 1080p screen. regretfully it really does make a difference.

my first impressions of the ayn thor are quite good. the build quality and buttons feel nice and i think i kind of forgot what it's like to have a portable system this lightweight haha. out of the 10 or so steam games i've tried only one is giving me trouble, and GC/DS emulation feel great.
