For those of you for whom it's safe to travel to/within the US, Sara-Maria Sorentino and I are currently accepting proposals for our Political Theology Network seminar stream.

incredible
deeply effective food pic tbh
someone showed this to me with an expression that suggested i should think this was insane. i gently reminded them that this happens every time i go without them.
(at least imo)
lol yeah, the trick is those two can go together, but neither can go with the anarchist/romantic option
i suspect this is also why something like the BPP or BLA version of the civil war thesis ends up in very different politics than French or English antityrannicism. if you're serious about the idea that you're 'behind enemy lines' then you know you need to pick your battles wisely.
the thing is, the 'war of all against all' thesis and the 'civil war' thesis aren't actually incompatible--the social contractarian just really wants them to be.
the beginning of the end of my kant chapter, for @amaryah.bsky.social
okayyyyy
those lightbulbs changed my life in that my house is now perpetually the color of a gay bar (good) and in that anytime we have a power surge, which is monthly, my lights become unusable until i can work up the energy to reconnect them to the router one by one.
hm seems quiet here
