Incredibly happy to sign this alongside representatives from across the Labour movement.
Hate has no place in our country, and certainly doesn't have a place in our manifestos.

There are rays of hope. Obviously broad disagreement with the government on just about everything, but we're winning MPs over.
There's definitely an issue of general ignorance on trans issues, which is our biggest focus at the moment.
A lot of movement post SC-Ruling with Trans people emailing MPs
"True leadership isn't about engaging in the loudest debates of the day; it is about ensuring that the protections meant for every British citizen work for everyone."
An honour to speak in Parliament for Trans Day of Visibility. Let's make visibility mean dignity, not fear. 🏳️⚧️
Massive win against state-sponsored hate.
For years, Orbán systematically stripped the rights of Women and the LGBTQ+ community, attempting to silence Pride and govern through fear.
But you'll never legislate away identity & hate will never win.

With the Labour Students' elections closing yesterday, it's time to relax a bit...
Nevermind! I'm pleased to announce that I'm standing for Vice President (EDI) for the Open University SLT.

In school, my teacher let me skip class to watch the first Orion tests. Now, it’s within 75,000km of the Moon.
#ArtemisII is a beautifully human achievement, particularly in such a divided world. I'll leave you with this from Edgar Mitchell:
This #TransDayOfVisibility, being visible isn't just a choice-it's an act of resistance. 🏳️⚧️
When reckless governance leaves us terrified to be ourselves, and trans people fear simply going to work lest they become tabloid fodder, change isn't just needed-it's long overdue.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been elected as the LGBT Representative on the Co-operative Party National Executive Committee! 🏳️🌈
Huge thanks to everyone who put their trust in me. Now, the real work begins to ensure we have a strong voice for all our members.
Even the Telegraph seems to accidentally admit we're right.
Iran can block oil in the Strait of Hormuz, but they can't block the sun or wind. No one wants this, but it happens. Far too often.
If we want energy security, we need sources that can't be switched off.

Vote now to re-elect me and the rest of the Renew team! 🌹
No organisation should be forced to exclude trans people against the will of its members and leadership.
Wealthy "Gender Critical" groups are using lawfare to undermine the autonomy of organisations. This threat goes far deeper than just trans rights.

The Labour Students elections being re-run may have changed my titles on this statement, but not my pride in it.
It’s clearer than ever: we can’t fight this alone. To stop the politics of division and hatred, we must build bridges and collaborate across party lines. 🤝🌹
Surprise! We could have won if Burnham were our candidate.
Funny how quickly "Labour to Win" pivots to "Labour for 3rd Place" the moment they’re faced with the prospect of a progressive platform.
It’s refreshing to see senior figures finally echoing the concerns members have been raising since the General Election.
The era of dismissing member feedback as "throwing stones" must end. We don't just need to listen—we need to act.

Important to note; we did bring up the issue outlined here much earlier on in the electoral process, but it's only been taken note of after the election has happened.
I'm proud to co-sign this letter with colleagues from across the political spectrum. The abuse aimed at Hannah Spencer this weekend was beyond reprehensible.
We’ve bridged the political divide to send one clear message: harassment has no place in our democracy.
POLLS ARE NOW OPEN!!!!
Polls have just opened up for LGBT Representative on the Co-operative Party NEC. If you want a rep with a strong and proven background, vote for Georgia Meadows before polls close later this month.
Solidarity all. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
A pinky/purple square showing the three candidates for the Labour Women United slate for the Labour Party's National Women's Committee: Nikki Belfield, Saranya Thambirajah and Cat MacLean. Their priorities are: Full inclusion of our trans sisters in our party. Working with party leadership to tackle the “boys’ club” culture. Improved approach to safeguarding, particularly for young members. A standalone, democratic, annual Women’s Conference.

I can't spend too long between elections!
I'm pleased to announce that my nomination is valid and that I'm now standing for LGBT Rep on the Co-operative Party NEC!
For a progressive, strong and experienced voice on the NEC, vote Georgia Meadows when polls open!
I'm happy to announce that I've been elected Trans Officer of Labour Students!
As I'm now the only Trans Officer in the party, I have a clearer mandate than ever to speak & advocate for trans people within the Labour Party.
If our leadership wishes to engage in good faith, then I'm happy to do so.
Cass should never have been put in charge of this review.
Since it was followed, there's been a 600% rise in trans children's suicides. She seems to think that trans kids don't want to socially transition! Does she even know when gender dysphoria is?

Labour for Trans Rights welcomes the High Court’s decision that service providers may continue to operate toilet and changing room facilities on a trans-inclusionary basis.
It's not even published yet, but from this alone, it seems
@bphillipsonmp.bsky.social is intent on continuing this train wreck.
One of my friends has already died because of the government's actions against trans people. Yet here we are doing it all over again.

Here's my full statement as a candidate for Trans Officer for Labour Students:
Thank you. It's a role elected solely by trans people, so I imagine I have a pretty good chance.
I'll definitely need a good helping of luck after that though.
I'm pleased to announce that I have made the ballot for Trans Officer of Labour Students, with 33 nominations out of the 20 required.
If elected, I will work as tirelessly as ever to ensure that trans voices are heard within the Labour movement and beyond.
Solidarity. Forever.
Unfortunately the website hasn't been updated, so I'm unsure how many nominations I need, or if I've reached the threshold.
Oh well! You can never have enough nominations! If you want a Trans Officer who fights for all trans people, nominate me with the Instructions below!
