There’s something about writing at first light—especially when it’s a scene taking place at first light

Once There Were Wolves 🐺 and Wild Dark Shore 🌱 were brilliant. I’ve been meaning to read Migrations for years, and finally getting to it now.
Cheers, John.

Love that!
Such a cute street library 📚 🐈
I can’t pass one without browsing.
When was the last time you gave a book to, or picked up a book from, a little street library?
50% into The Art of Legend. So keen to see how Wesley Chu wraps up this series (and a little nervous - please let it be perfect 👌 ). Could be heading for a place in my top 5 trilogies.
Ouch!
🎉 TOMORROW! 🎉
Get excited - this is going to be HUGE

The smile on my face reading this!
(The Art of Legend, pg 144 of the HC)
Ooo, so true! I can relate!
QOTD: When you’re buying a new physical book, do you reach for the paperback (PB) or hardcover (HC)?
I love how HC’s sit and look on my shelf, but generally prefer the reading experience of a PB (primarily where the novel is already weighty given its page count).
This map is so pretty!
It’s from The Art of Legend. I’m having a lot of fun back in the world with these characters. Only 60 pages in - hoping to get some reading time this weekend
"A woman needed to be ruthless to triumph in a world ruled by men. Duchess Sunri was, at the same time, the best and worst role model for little murderous girls everywhere." (pg 10)
Loved The Art of Prophecy and The Art of Destiny. Bring on book 3!
Wesley Chu has given us such a great cast of characters - Taishi and Qisami being personal favourites
Had already picked up a 700-pager, so had to resist King Sorrow. Next time! 📚
absolutely incredible!
Been excited for this one! Her previous book, Once There Were Wolves, is one of my fav's outside of SFF. 100 pages into Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy and it's brilliant. Suspenseful, emotive, beautiful. Impeccable character work. Lovely prose

So many beautiful books 📚- including this one (although I'm a tad biased)
P.S., And I’ll never get over the custom font Anderson did for the title of the novel. The cover, the spine and this title page all feature a different arrangement of it!
