great game. even setting 2bae aside i still loved the blending of genres, the storytelling through gameplay and the meta-ness of the later hacking levels.

i really liked the chip system, and the combat is some of the best in the genre, second only to Bayonetta.

love this game. playing in full survival mode with additional mods and personal constraints (can't collect/spend caps, barter only) was some of the most fun I've had with an open world game.

centipede is one of my favorite arcade games, i pretty much refuse to play it without a trackball. i'm also pretty decent at it, not crazy but i have occasionally been able to crack the high scores when i find it in the wild.

update: carpenter brut was fantastic live, health was a cool show but didn't do much to sway my feelings on them. they're in that weird spot of i like what they're doing, but don't really feel like it's for me

also i have 250+ hours in Balatro, which totally counts XD

you joke but i've probably played more solitaire games than most people knew existed. soltrio for xbox 360 has 17 different varieties of classic solitaire card games, the zachtronics solitaire collection is excellent, and i grew up playing a lot of the klondike and freecell on windows 3.1 and 95.

haven't played it! looks cool tho, i'm sure i'd like it if i got past the "find time to meet with friends to play it" filter.

really liked the first Metroid Prime, I haven't yet gotten to the others. I don't think I liked it quite as much as my favorite 2D metroids (Super, ZM, Dread). I do love the feeling of not just controlling but *embodying* samus. Her eyes flashing in the hud is one of my favorite details in any FPS.

i've played this game several times and always have fun doing so, probably one of the most consistently fun retro jrpgs to come back to...but i've never actually finished it 😭

def a super important game in the lineage/history of jrpgs so i did have to add the original to my collection!

this might be a misfire since i don't play a lot of newer/aaa games but what the heck
