xD all joking aside, this is definitely the largest single order I've ever had!
Its almost kinda exciting.

(also after learning that it was 84 instead of 50, my boss made sure the client knew that it will take us longer than Wednesday lol)

GOOD GOD, YES.
and with blinds, older parts are hard to get. We have to actively scrap stuff to keep any stock of older parts. PLUS even if I have what you need, you have to give me like a minute or two to LOOK for it. I'm not a computer, I can't just keep all that info in my head.

well lucky for me, the school blinds are coming in new from the manufacturer. I just have to unpack them and get them ready for our installer to pick up

the apartment complex blinds are the ones I have to clean... although those usually arent much better hah

...aaaand I just got told off over the phone by a customer for not having the part he needed just... on hand?

I am feeling genuine rage right now. I'm just going to try to stay very calm.

The last several days have been a lot to deal with.

This means that I'll be responsible for hand cleaning anywhere from 30-50 blinds, all due back in by Wednesday.

It also means that at some point during that process, I'll have to stop and manually unload and unpack (at least) two shipping pallets worth of boxes.

...hooray for me.

So, I got back into work today not even feeling that much better

and I learn that we're not only getting a massive shipment of new blinds for a public school we work with, we're ALSO getting a huge cleaning order from an apartment complex.

I just watched the new avatar movie and uhhh...

I REALLY like the spirit that helps them out during that one part.

For the last like literally three weekends in a row, I've been trying to get together with a specific group of friends, and we kept having to cancel because of everyones work schedules.
